Complete waiver and policies

1. Assumption of risk
Pickleball and other physical activities involve inherent risks, including slips, trips, falls, collisions, impact from balls or paddles, muscle or joint injuries, dehydration, heat exposure, and other injury. Outdoor play may also involve sun, wind, rain, wet or uneven surfaces, and changing weather. By booking, the customer voluntarily accepts these risks for themselves and the players included in the reservation.
2. Booking, payment, and rebooking
- Full online payment is required to confirm a reservation.
- A ₱20 online booking fee is charged once per checkout.
- Payments and online booking fees are non-refundable.
- Customer-requested cancellations, schedule changes, and rebooking are not allowed. Rebooking applies only to qualifying weather-affected hourly slots under the outdoor weather policy below.
- Only the exact hourly slot or slots approved by Riverside Dink as weather affected may be rebooked. Replacement schedules are subject to availability and must be used within 30 days.
- If the replacement schedule has a higher court rate, the difference must be paid before play.
- Late arrivals and no-shows do not receive extensions, refunds, credits, or rebooking.
3. Outdoor weather policy
- If an hourly slot has not started and the court is unavailable because of rain or unsafe weather, that affected hour may be rebooked.
- If players stop because of rain or wet court conditions when 30 minutes or less of an hourly slot has elapsed, that affected hour may be rebooked in full.
- If more than 30 minutes of an hourly slot has elapsed, that hour is considered used and cannot be rebooked.
- For multi-hour bookings, every hourly slot is evaluated separately. Time is calculated from the scheduled start of each hour, not from the players' actual arrival or start of play.
- During light rain, drizzle, or damp court conditions, players may decide whether to start, continue, or stop. Players who choose to start or continue accept the increased risk and give up weather rebooking for that affected hour due to the same condition.
- Riverside Dink may close or restrict the court during lightning, flooding, severe weather, or clearly dangerous conditions. Players must leave the playing area when the court is closed.
4. Players, minors, and court use
- Eight players are included per booked court. Each additional player is charged ₱100.
- The person making the booking is responsible for all players in the group, for sharing these policies with them, and for ensuring that they follow the court rules.
- The person making the booking confirms that the parent or legal guardian of every minor has allowed the minor to participate. Minors must have appropriate adult supervision.
- Proper sports attire and secure athletic or court shoes are required. Slippers, sandals, and playing barefoot are prohibited.
- Players must use the court and equipment responsibly and respect other guests and staff.
- No glass containers, smoking, vaping, alcohol, dangerous behavior, or intentional damage are allowed in the playing area. The customer may be charged for damage caused by their group.
5. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, players voluntarily assume the risks inherent in pickleball and outdoor play and release Riverside Dink, its owners, employees, and representatives from claims arising from those inherent risks or from the player's voluntary decision to start or continue playing during rain, drizzle, dampness, or wet court conditions. This waiver applies only to the extent allowed by Philippine law.
6. Personal information
The customer agrees that Riverside Dink may collect and use the booking details provided—including the customer's name, mobile number, email address, schedule, player count, payment status, and weather-related decisions—to process and manage the reservation, send confirmations and service notices, prevent duplicate bookings, and maintain necessary business and safety records. Information will be handled only for legitimate business purposes and as required by applicable law.
7. Agreement
By checking the agreement box and continuing to payment, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this complete waiver and these policies for themselves and on behalf of the players included in the booking.
